From lengths to real straight line
The real ones bring together the rational and the irrational. Using naturals with zero, we have ℕ ⊂ ℤ ⊂ ℚ ⊂ ℝ. Irrationals, like √2 and π, also belong to ℝ, but not to ℚ.

| Trail | What to explore | First step |
|---|---|---|
| 🌱 Elementary I · 1st to 5th year | Measures, decimals and concrete data | Discover |
| 🚀 Elementary II · 6th to 9th grade | Rational, irrational, approximations and equations | Enlarge the line |
| 🎓 High School · 1st to 3rd grade | Sets, ranges, functions and statistics | Deep deeper |
The levels suggest a reading order. Come back to review when you need to. Probability and statistics are complementary applications: the study of reality also helps to interpret measurements and data.
How to study: observe a situation, represent it, explain the reasoning and check the challenges.
