Angles
- recognize convex regions and understand how a straight line divides the plane;
- define angle, its interior and exterior;
- classify pairs of angles: consecutive, adjacent, opposed by the vertex;
- measure angles in degrees, minutes and seconds and work with complement and supplement.
Angles are everywhere: in the arm of a crane, in the slope of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, in the steps of a staircase and in the hands of a clock, which form a different angle every minute.
